He won three consecutive regular season championships, a feat only matched by BlueCoug and Cougar in Big D. He has won at least 118 games in five of his six years of membership in the Picks Club. He qualified for the Hall of Fame during the 2003 playoffs when Utah beat Southern Mississippi in the Liberty Bowl, 17-0.
