mystic ken (2008-2015)Qualified: 2012 | Inducted: 2013 Mystic Ken--who played his HS ball in Central FL and had a scholarship to play linebacker at Dartmouth in 1963--started his career in Picks Club off with a bang, winning the 1AA championship in his first season (2008), and following that up in 2009 with a 1A title as well. He became only the third player in Picks Club history to win both the 1A and 1AA championship. He has been a weekly Pickmeister 3 times, and remains in close contention for football and basketball Pickmeister each season. In a 40+ year coaching career, he has coached football, basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, volleyball, swimming, wrestling, gymnastics, and team handball. He started soccer in his hometown 37 years ago, and has coached elite traveling teams in soccer & softball. He just stopped teaching private lessons in softball/baseball pitching/hitting after 20 years. Mystic Ken is the patriarch of 3 generations of Picks Club members: jockanddoc (son), TexasEx14 (daughter), adafao (daughter-in-law), and RyHutch (grandson). Career Football Records |
